I have always been a bad sportsman as long as I can remember. I am highly competitive and I don’t like to lose. I can remember as a child getting totally pissed off and throwing bats, kicking balls, and being a general asshole when I lost at ANYTHING. I don’t know why, but I’ve always been that way. I’ve gotten a lot better as I’ve gotten older, but I still have a ways to go.
I am not a sports maniac like some, but when I like a team — I really love them and them winning becomes an obsession for me. If you did not think I could get any crankier, watch my team lose. Tonight the Giants lost AGAIN to Milwaukee and all I wanted to do was yell and beat my chest like an angry gorilla — why? I don’t have a clue. As an adult serving in the Armed Forces I found myself playing ALL of the competitive sports while I was stationed in South Korea. I was particularly bad in Football, I used to get ejected from games and cost my team hundreds of yards in penalties for un-sportsman like conduct.
Why you might ask? Hell if I know, I just like to win and as I said before I have to win. If I don’t win I get mad. It’s very immature and childish to act like that and it’s really not copacetic for a team mentality. It is however within my control to a degree, but at the same time it’s not 100% — it’s a good thing I cannot physically play sports right now because of my knees. I am going to make sure to be more conscious of it should I ever be able to play sports again, I’m at the age where I realize I cannot act like a total asshole if I lose — because then nobody will play with me.
The point of this blog? Just to let everyone know I am not perfect and I have my strengths and weaknesses. I am working on them, but I have some ways to go. I guess where pro sports and well, any sports are concerned I should not really give a shit if they or I win, but I do. I do promise not to beat my chest like a gorilla and yell or break stuff if they or I lose.

I don’t wanna play with you beaner!
