I am currently a college student at West Valley College studying business, I plan to transfer to San Jose State University to major in Management Information Systems (MIS). Prior to being a college student I spent 8 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, I separated in February of 2009 in the rank of Staff Sergeant.
During those 8 years I had a lot of fun, saw some great places, and met friends that I will have for life. As far as occupation goes, I currently work at West Coast Cigars in San Jose, CA as a Retail Tobacconist. It’s a fun job for a college student, but I look forward to moving on after school. I am a Cigar Rights of America Ambassador, Cigar Rights of America is a nonprofit organization built on the purpose of ensuring the rights of cigar smokers remain intact. I consider myself to be quite the film buff. I love all kinds of movies, but have a special affinity for the horror genre. I have hundreds of horror films on DVD and VHS as well as memorabilia and autographs from several horror celebrities. I also enjoy several other types of films, especially action and drama, and films from Pixar. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, enjoying top shelf cigars, attending lodge events, watching movies, watching SF Giants baseball, photography, fishing, and playing video games. A few of my favorite movies are Reservoir Dogs, Phantasm, Tombstone, The Dark Knight, Taken, Rojo Sangre, and Transformers. Some of my favorite television shows are Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, Dexter, Fringe, Deadwood, and Star Trek: TNG, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, and Diners Drive Ins and Dives.
I am a proud Master Mason and member of Golden Rule Lodge #479, F.&.A.M. in San Jose, CA. I am a Noble of the Mystic Shrine (AAONMS). Nobles of the Mystic Shrine are commonly referred to as “Shriners”. I have wanted to become a Shriner for a very long time and am proud that I was accepted to join them. I enjoy being a Mason because it gives me the opportunity to help the community as well as it makes me part of an organization bigger than myself.
